  10.
King Rd is passable by any type of vehicle.

Many of the spots along the road have an embankment to go over. Some vehicles with low clearance will have a hard time or get damaged.

If you’re tent camping with a car, you should still be able to find enough locations that are accessible.

There’s A Lot to choose from! Keep going down King Rd. It just keeps getting better.

  12.
Yes, King Rd. is big rig friendly.

A rig with low clearance may have difficulty crossing some of the embankments on the side of the road.

Our rig has high clearance and did not have a problem.

    Well, there was one problem.

Our bearings disintegrated on the way due to an over tightened castle nut. The wheel chose the embankment into our site to fall off.

The video below gives a good description and some good lessons.

This a beautiful location with wide open spaces.

The mountain views, sunrises and sunsets are worth spending a few days here.

We liked that fact that it was way less populated than Quartzite. And it’s a lot prettier.

We would return to this location over and over again.

As long as our wheels stay on the rig!
